Starting tomorrow, July 9th, I'm going to send every incoming call immediately to voice mail. If I want to talk to you, I'll either call you back (if I know your number) or text you.
Please don't leave voice mail. I hate voice mail and I rarely check it.
I'm doing this to save money on my cellular bill and because I multi-task when I'm on the phone and I rarely pay attention to what people say.

Good idea. I am going to turn off my water and electricity to save money also. I’m giving you a call right now – you had better answer.
I know this new rule does not apply to your “Mother”.
I should be #1 on your list.
