LJ's Blog – Ridiculously Entertaining.

by Taylor Brooks on Dec 20th, 2007

To be quite honest I don't know how I ran across Lindsay's blog.  I've never met Lindsay, but we went to Auburn at the same time and we share many mutual friends and live in the same city.

Good writers are few and far between these days; especially those that have a sense of humour.  Amazingly, Lindsay has both, which makes her blog a fascinating read.  (Ever thought about a career as a comedy writer?  Or an author?)

Here are some of my favorites so far:

The Titans Game Story
The Email to Tim Tebow Story
The Martina McBride Story
and the ones that show pure comedic genius are here, here, here, and here.

Commentator #1- Don’t think I don’t know who you are. You’re not that anonymous.

Lindsay- I agree, we should meet. Although, I couldn’t compete with your quick wit.

Jess- I have an excellent shot with Carrie Underwood. Don’t hate.

Looking forward to it.

And I can’t believe you think those are the funniest. I mean, you’ve read the Carrie Underwood story, right?

Yeah, it’s good too. The funniest ones are those short ones.

“Brevity is the soul of wit.”

It took me 6 weeks before I started using Shakespeare quotes on my lady-friend. Big guns early, eh? Can you be that amazing Lindsay?

Good eye Ben, I’m impressed.

BTW, I love that book by Driscoll. He’s very entertaining; his theology is pretty sound too. Did we already discuss this? My days are running together…

I wouldn’t say “amazing” – but you seemed impressed when we met a week ago, Ben.

LJ–My, My. How worlds collide. Let’s not be modest here, Linsay . We might disagree on a host of issues, but we’re unreservedly sure–you are amazing.

TB–A little bit, but we were gonna get after it again when you finished.
