well, can we at least have an honorable honorable mention section for the sake of jagged little pill?

@Lana Meh… Not really a classic. If you throw in JLP, then you have to put in Goo Goo’s Dizzy Up the Girl and No Doubt’s Tragic Kingdom. Neither of which really deserve to be included as “Honorable Mentions” imho.

You know, that is a great list. The only other album I feel that could have done well on the list would be The Fugee’s – “The Score”. Also, I totally agree with your stance on the Alanis and Goo Goo Dolls. Good stuff, but not top tier.

@Brett There were a whole slew of R&B/Rap albums I could’ve (maybe should’ve) included. All the albums I chose are either grunge or post-grunge rock; which really personify the angry white suburban kid that grew up in the ’90s.

Now that I think about it, I feel bad for not including any GNR.

How you can forget to mention Hootie & The Blowfish “Cracked Rear View”. I can’t think of another album in the 90′s that if you didn’t have it, you weren’t with it. Not even an honorable mention?!?

@Wilki I agree Hootie did put out a few good albums in the ’90s. It wasn’t one of my top ten though. I should’ve titled the post better.
